How do I give a canvasser admin permissions?

Sometimes a User moves up the leadership ladder and goes from a canvasser to a manager or field director! You can reflect that change in permissions in OpenField without needing to make a new account for the User. 

Open the Burger Bar menu and click Users. Find the canvasser account you want to add permissions to, then click their email address. 

Click into the About tab for the User, and at the bottom of the page under Permissions, select the Admin level you'd like to upgrade their account to. For a review of the permissions available at each level, click here. 

✏️Please Note: If Campaigns are turned on in your Garden and you promote a canvasser to Admin I or Admin II, you will also need to assign the User to specific Campaigns. You can do this by typing the name of the desired Campaigns in the text box under the Admin Level selector. Note that assigning the User to specific Campaigns will also prevent them from canvassing in a Conversation Code that is not within one of their assigned Campaigns. 

To save your changes to this User's profile, click Save at the bottom of the screen.
