OpenField Release Notes | Release 0.27 | January 29, 2025

Welcome to Release 0.27! We are so excited to announce that the canvassing side of OpenField is now available in Spanish! This release also tackled improvements to the Search function while canvassing and phone banking.

Improvements

• The canvassing and phone banking apps are now available in Spanish! Please note the translations are still in Alpha and may have some errors. If you spot any issues with the translations, please email [e-mail]! 
  • To switch languages, click on the Burger Bar menu in the upper left-hand corner of the canvassing app, then select the language drop-down and choose “Spanish.” 

• We’ve made several improvements to the Search feature when canvassing or phone banking, including updates to the Notes and Advanced Search options.
• The legend for has history, ill/incarcerated, etc., will now appear in Search Results when searching for a new person while canvassing and phone banking. 
• When creating a new Conversation Code, the options for expiration dates and times will be automatically pre-filled to allow for faster Conversation Code creation. 
• Basic UI improvements in Create Search.
